In recent years we’ve been observing a gradual disappearance of culture from the pages of different Ukrainian media, the quality andinfluence of the cultural criticism has reduced almost to zero. However, as the river paves its way in the most bizarre landscapes, in hard time culture is looking for opportunities to speak aloud, and appears at independent platforms, public spaces, independent media, in social media and blogs. It is obvious that there always has to be a space for analysis, debate and discussionsaboutsocial processes through the prism of culture. Cultural journalism is the best instrument to explain our life and make all the political processes in cultural sphere more transparent. But the question is how to convey to the reader the most important things, without losing the main idea? What is the right position for the critic to assess cultural phenomenon? How can we finally start thinking aboutpublic and private money in culture? These questions will be discussed with participants of the presentation – the authors of "How to Write about Culture?":
